Design and implementation of embedded programming prototype and low-level test systems and components including aircraft systems such as E-2D, F/A-18, MH-60, and other light civilian aircraft (Lear Jet, King Air).
Support on-aircraft emulation and interface overdrive/stimulation of aircraft systems using proven integration techniques and opens system architecture implementation.
Enable and support safe flight test of new systems implementation in simulated aircraft training systems and actual military aircraftJ.
FTaylor, Incis seeking software developers/engineers to contribute to all phases of the design cycle including requirements generation, design, coding, setup/troubleshooting/testing, and delivery/installationSoftware developers/engineers work in a team setting with Project Managers, Engineers, Software Developers, Testers and TechniciansTasking will consist of the following:
Software design, development, coding, integration, and test of avionics, mission system, and aerodynamic models involved with real-time on-aircraft system emulation.
Work with hardware engineers to develop software to stimulate and integrate both commercial and military hardware.
Code in VxWorks, Linux and Windows Operating System (OS) environments, using open and core system source librariesUnderstand and apply processes and procedures, perform activities associated with the design, development, test, implementation, maintenance, configuration management and quality control of software.

The candidate must be able to program using C and C+
in both a Windows and/or Linux/Unix environment.
The candidate must possess strong independent coding and hardware integration skills and a willingness to communicate and work alongside other software and project team members.
It is preferred the candidate has experience with embedded programming with C/C+
and a working knowledge of system interface programming via standard communications protocolsKnowledge in the areas of networking a plus.
Degree:
SComputer Science, Computer Engineering or related field desired.
